AU Partnership are experts in the challenges of sudden wealth.
Whether you've received a large inheritance, sold a successful business, signed a major contract or won the lottery, sudden wealth comes with amazing opportunities as well as some unexpected challenges.
Many people enjoy the first exuberant feelings that come with a windfall. But, once the newness has worn off, these excited feelings can be replaced with feelings of stress and anxiety, or a loss of a sense of purpose. In addition, a financial windfall can act as an accelerant, adding fuel to the flames of any pre-existing wellbeing or mental health issues.

AU Partnership programmes are designed by a team of experienced coaches, counsellors and well-being experts. We help you unpack the challenges, decisions, feelings and overwhelm that sudden wealth can trigger, and build bespoke support programs to enable you to thrive in your newfound wealth.

If you or a loved one is dealing with the ramifications of sudden wealth, please call Rachel on +44 (0)7764 577388 or get in touch to find out how we can help.

Wendy Bristow
Psychotherapist and Counsellor
Wendy is a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. She trained at WPF, one of the leading training centres for psychotherapists in the country and she holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice from Roehampton University as well as a first degree in English Literature. She also trained as a Cruse bereavement counsellor.

Wendy is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) and she abides by their ethics, standards and practices.
Like many people who become therapists, Wendy has been in therapy herself and know first-hand how helpful it can be to talk to get confidential and informed support.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy acknowledges that we don’t always know why – and how – we do and feel certain things and get into the situations that we do - unconscious processes can be at work. As well as listening to you and making observations, Wendy might look at what goes on within your relationship with her for pointers as to what might be going on unconsciously. That said, much of the research on psychotherapy emphasises that the relationship is all-important, rather than the specific method which is why she offers an introductory session to see whether you can work together.
